Hunting Season
Travelers have reported strange things in the woods. Mutilated corpses of animals, remains of bodies strung in trees, the high pitched tone of screams and hunting horns during the new moon.

The noble citizen Esinda Malvores and companion encountered some of the woodland trouble makers and was able to capture one. After reporting the details to the Avendel Militia, the Empire has released the following warning:
To all those traveling through the Brokenbow Woods at night, be wary of rangers, and avoid areas near the commonly known "Gallows Oak". Please report any and all strange activity to authorities.
