Re: Tiefling Application

I am not referring to Anorexia Extrema, if that is what you are referring to. (Sorry I can't see the links you provided).

I am referring to the allowable random tiefling features. As players, we can select the specific fiendish features exhibited (within reason, of course). Some players can go wild like having bug eyes on eyestalks, translucent skin, smoking breath, or even tentacle like arms.
Others can go mild like having glowing eyes, colored skin, tail, and small horns because chaotic evil demon tieflings are the most common. But there are other types of fiends besides horned red ones.

My tiefling character exhibits abnormally light weight because she has bird features. That is the theme I was referring to. Scientifically, maybe her bones are hollow and contain no marrow, or her body contains significantly less water than average people. But we have no way of telling beside dissecting her. emoticon

When creating her, I had in mind that she appears normal and healthy (per D&D perspective, as almost everyone looks like a model in a catalog). Science-fiction-wise, think of it like ]Todd McFarlane's Spawn who weighs 500 lbs because his body is made of necroplasm, yet he looks like a tall man.

Hope that answered your question.

I'm curious how you got hollow bones from Eyrnies. Avariels have hollow bones (in fact most of the features you describe the character having are far closer to a planes-touched avariel than a devil.) but that is to allow for them to fly without the aid of magic. (They also take a -4 con penalty for it.)

]Eyrnies in particular have no connection to birds or bird-kind any more than celestials do.

Though, this is all armchair physics and science, and it is fantasy. I'm totally open to new vulture-like interpenetrations of monsters.

Tucker's link was the unbroken one. It was a link to an article about an anorexic woman who is the skinniest woman in the world.

You're original post just said that she was 60lbs and really skinny so I wasn't sure if it was intentional or a mistake.

If her weight is supernaturally less than would be expected for her volume then that weight makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying!

Approved.

Make the PC and see me in-game to get the full subrace applied: +2 Dex, +2 Int, -2 Charisma. Base Race changed to Outsider. Resist fire, cold, and electricity 5. Bluff +2, Hide +2. Darkvision. Darkness 1/day.

Personally I think adding avian features is a nice touch; its refreshing to see a tiefling that isn't part-goat. The only misgiving I sort of have is toting a baby along on adventures. I think we can work something out nonetheless, I think its silly to not let people role-play characters raising children. We can discuss how to best implement that later on!

@ Numos:
Thank you for your consideration. I won't let you down. I understand your skepticism regarding the child. It is like I asked for two characters. But I am sure we will agree to something that will enrich the RP in the server.

@ Totems:
I never said that Erinyes have hollow bones; I said they have feathered wings. I said that Deirdre has features from birds of prey. I can see why this was confusing. My apology for the confusion.

Usually during the week, late at night PST time. About once-three times a week.

I have logged in a couple times, but no DM was available. Not a problem, though.
