Darach and The Witch Kings
The Hags of the bog say that Darach was born under a witch’s moon on the seventh day of the seventh month as the seventh child to his father who was too the youngest of seven. At the moment of his birth his mother and midwife gasped at the beautiful infant born with a crown of caul upon his brow.

Re: Darach and The Witch Kings
In Aolyth there are many fairy tales told to children to keep them good and safe and afraid of the arcane. The mothers of the Fir Bolg tell their children tales of The Witch Kings, sorcerer tyrants who ruled the land before the era of the great warrior kings. It is said these witch kings held so much ley-magic in their great towers that even the Greater Fey could not oppose their will. There was much suffering during this time and much fear and as those who were not mages were treated as slaves to the towers of these self-proclaimed kings and queens.
The most notorious of these witch kings was Gaelen the Black who built his highest spire on the banks of an ancient river and is said to have ventured into the otherworld and stolen the Coire Dagda from its well-guarded home in the halls of Avalloch, bringing it into the mortal realm.
