Toolset Issue: Invisible Chairs
So I've been plugging away with my Toolset, making neat stuff for the Use Our Stuff thread, and I seem to have run into a bit of a bug.
It's a known issue that, when using the ActionSit command (typically by way of a script, such as zep_use_chair) on an object that isn't a chair or some similar piece of Placeable furniture, the character will always sit facing East...some jazz about the Use01 dummy, download this hak to fix it, stupid Bioware, blah blah blah.
But the issue that I'm facing here is that the Invisible Chairs, which normally work as they should, are acting squirrelly. This invisible chair on a tileset chair works fine:
...as do two invisible chairs placed on a fainting couch:
...but the rest of the invisible chairs in my current project, which are placed on either static placeables or tileset features, are exhibiting the Facing East bug.
It may also be worth noting that changing a NWN1 rocking chair into a NWN2 rocking chair (via Appearance Type) breaks it with the Facing East bug. That wooden bench is NWN2, but that fainting couch is NWN1. Maybe this is a related issue, maybe it's not. I'm not really sure.
For now, I'm just going to replace the benches with regular chairs and add sittable cushions for the bath seats. But for the sake of future episodes, have any of you other Toolset afficionados come across quirky invisible chairs like these? And if so, were you able to fix them somehow?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Toolset Issue: Invisible Chairs
IS this the CEP Invisible chair, or the vanilla NWN Invisible object?
I had that problem once with CEP chairs where no matter the orientation you'd fit facing north. I believe the hak file somehow became corrupted so I had to reinstall it.

Re: Toolset Issue: Invisible Chairs
They're the CEP Invisible Chairs. I'll try replacing them with the Invisible Objects and see if that helps.
Thanky.

Re: Toolset Issue: Invisible Chairs
Spot on! The invisible objects have succeeded where the invisible chairs have failed; they're all working perfectly.
I'll never use an invisible chair again. Thanks, Numos!
