And a hearty "Ditto" from me too. Let us dispense a great many buckets of kudos for the magnificent effort which Numos and Seager invested in tonight's milestone event. How the DM team is ever going to top this relentless mammoth of an event is beyond me. Erular's free, Magister Sutharan is dead, Avendel lies ravaged by powers from [sign in to see URL] do you do for an encore after something that gripping?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we? emoticon

Kudos!

Indeed, and after a battle very hard fought, we ended up with a thought provoking climax. Avendel's ruination was an unforeseen consequence to the heroes' good intentions which essentially fits the heroes into Wormrot's plan for the Barghest to destroy the city. By the Barghest being slain and the wolf king's soul bound, it was set up that those who would seek to release him would unleash the destruction he had promised all along, even though we had thought we had stopped him. So kudos on a clever plot brought to a satisfactory point where we might foolishly think it a conclusion!

Heroes are racked with pangs of conscience (or glowing with triumph as the case may be), the politics of the empire is perhaps destabilized, and an opening has been made to bring the Witch King and the Wyrm Cult more prominently into play. I can't wait to see what happens next.
