Avendel Promenade Watch House

Ignatius enters the Watch House in Avendel with an appearance of a "purple dragonish" knight of Cormyr, walking to the desk where a man named Sergeant Cribbins stands.

" Good day Sir.. I am Ingatius Hougen, Cavalier and master swordsman from Durinham. I heard rumors that you are in need of recruits to bring law and order inside these city walls. And to that, I'm offering my services. "

Re: Avendel Promenade Watch House

Desk sergeant Cribbins dutifully and entirely in his own time retrieves a book from the substantial pile sitting nearby. With a flourish and a lick of the nib of his quill, and before even looking at Ignatius he begins taking down his details.

When stopping to clarify a point he looks up from underneath his dented and hopelessly anachronistic Watch helmet and pauses.

Seeing Ignatius' suit of armor gives the desk sergeant pause.

"Uh... maybe best that I make you an appointment with the Cap'"

He takes out another book, and marks Ignatius in for a meeting with Captain Costello.

Constable Hougen shows a spear to the higher ranked watchmen while having lunch with them in the break room.. he says that the watch should replace their spears with these called "feybane pikes" , which would be of big help when the savage tu'athas and their kin will attack next time. He asks them if more of them could be made.. and if so, are the library or the dwarf in the smithy able to craft such great weapons for the protection of our city?

He also offers them to borrow his pike if they want to try to get the dwarf or the library to copy it.

// spear +3 keen 1d10 positive energy vs elf halfelf and fey
