Bloody Sunday

Dirge (Malithra Waters) made his first real move. Approaching the heroes, Numos, Nynten, Soliea, Haze, Emer, and Phaeron. She talked to them for a time, knowing full well she was not taken seriously, but the heroes resolved they should at least inspect the threat that the town of Rivenmuar was indeed being attacked.

Upon there trip they came across Arkady who then joined in there efforts. They indeed found the town under attack, but by the time they arrived all the knights had been slain. Even as they battled the undead army that was still mutilating the bodies of The Triad knights, more persisted to come and slow down the heroes.

A short conversation with a Dracolich did confirm there suspicions they were just being held up. After struggling to fight there way to be seemingly endless sea of undead, they reached there destination, of the Triad Temple.

All was quiet though as blood flowed from the great doors of the temple, and a lone body pinned to the doors. The body was mutilated so badly you could even tell the sex, head missing and down the middle split in two.

They fallowed a blood trail that lead to the back side, to find the other half of the body was in the same shape. But more disturbing was what was written on the wall in blood, of the temple.

"Haze, Numos, Lanthar, Phaeron, Emer, Soliea, Chrissy, Ignatius" The list went on to have many more names. But there was one key name "Kaley Patson" With a mark through her name, and final words, "One Down"

Much of the group was mortified at the sight. Emer with her sharp eyes spoted a ring, that she quickly removed from the corps. It was a Triad insignet ring that only one of leadership would have, and on the in side holding the name of Kaley Patson. It was clear more then ever that the two split parts were what was left of Kaley.

The party then, reluctantly, explored to find that everyone was dead, weather they were Triad, refugees, women, children, sick or dyeing, old... it didn't matter they were all slaughtered tortured and left for dead. It was a gruesome site as the temple was in shambles, and not one person died a quick death.

With a quick search for the Cursed Pages, and finding little, the party left to gather there thoughts. What was in store now?

Re: Bloody Sunday

As the scavengers and dregs of society arrived that night to Rivenmaur and the Temple to relieve the dead of they no longer useful items they were shocked to find that not a single corpse remained. All that could be found were the several sloppy shuffled footprints leading into the nearby forest.
