Bell Book and Candle
Rhiannon, the midwife's apprentice is often seen leaving the city in the dead of night, heading in the direction of the forest. She does not return to the city until just prior to dawn.
In the last week, not all of her woodland visits have been made alone. She is sometimes seen walking with a young girl.

Re: Bell Book and Candle
Though late the girl pretends she is not to tiered as she lightly rubs her eyes.
"Where are we going tonight, Rhiannon? Brother won't be happy about being out so late." She yawns lightly. "He wouldn't to happy if he found out."

Re: Bell Book and Candle
She smiles at the child as takes her hand in the forest.
" Shhh. I told you, these trips are to be our little secret. Big brother would worry too much if he knew."
Ahead in the forest a small gathering of cloaked figures lingers in a moonlit clearing. They move around a circle of candles and murmurer in a foreign tongue. Rhiannon guides the child closer to the female group who has paused in their proceedings to inspect the girl. Rhiannon kneels beside the nervous child and smiles reassuring her.
" You've a great natural power Sara. We can help you learn to use it. Would you like that?"

Re: Bell Book and Candle
She thinks a moment and looks over the group before she nods unsure.
"Why can't we tell him though?" She lets out another light yawn. "He would understand... right? He trust you. He also wants me to learn."

Re: Bell Book and Candle
A kindly looking old woman, with wrinkled skin and white hair steps forward. " We are feared because we are different child. The library would like to rid the land of us. If you tell your brother...our secret is in danger, and more importantly he would be in danger."

Re: Bell Book and Candle
The girl nods slowly no fully understanding her words, and reluctantly nods.
"I understand, don't Brother, Or anyone." She looks to Rhiannon a moment holding close to her unsure of what the future holds.

Re: Bell Book and Candle
The girl would watch and learn all she can understand at her fragile age. The rituals, the chants, what herbs are best to use, hand and body movements. She watches with care and only speaking when spoken to. But the things she witnesses she is spell bound by at such a quareus age.
