Holiday from Rowley

The cantankerous Lord Rowley has left the village of Bodkin with the bulk of his soldiers. He has ridden to Avendel, where he is said to be staying for the season. The grumpy Lord left the village shortly after his only daughter became stricken with horrible and mysterious pain. He was advised that her illness might be due to a strange Fey curse, and that she must distance herself from any fairy contact. For lack of any other solution, the Lord rode to the lowlands he hates so much, where his daughter has made an encouraging recovery.

Strangely, Lord Rowley left the village back in the hands of his heroic constable Phaeron Dax. Upon riding out of town the lord was heard muttering, " Let the boy hero deal with the fire he started for awhile."

Re: Holiday from Rowley

The town is in much higher spirits since Rowley's departure. Emboldened by the lord's absence, and inspired by Phaeron's own faith, many of the village woodsmen no longer hide their worship of Erawyn. They have begun to openly wear the charms that were once hid away beneath their shirts, and lay offerings at the foot of the village center stone. Even Uvan now marks his door with the ancient symbol of The Bowman.
