As Emer opens to the marked page, she it to be the start of a chapter describing Sulla's taming of the Huntress. There is a small sketch of an armored warrior clutching a bottle, which a ghost-like woman appears to be trapped within. Wedged between the two pages is a folded note, it reads as follow: "Emer, I've perused you as my quarry for too long. And I daresay, I think we're a trifle bored of one another. And I do quite forgive you for sending that limy little shortling thug after me; worry not. The book, I hope, will serve as a little parting gift... to remind you of all the fun we had together back in the good old days! Your friend always, S"nondisclosed_email@example.com (Saedrun)Tue, 26 Aug 2008 17:18:22 +0000 Re: The Courier (Emer & Friends)https://bandrune.runboard.com/p817,from=rss#post817https://bandrune.runboard.com/p817,from=rss#post817  Casting a glance round the table at her companions Emer places the book so that they may read as well. She ever so carefully opens the book where marked and looks over the page.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Ortlindegal)Tue, 26 Aug 2008 17:03:38 +0000 Re: The Courier (Emer & Friends)https://bandrune.runboard.com/p816,from=rss#post816https://bandrune.runboard.com/p816,from=rss#post816The messenger-boy firmly placed the package on the table, tapped it with his hand, and hastened toward the door. Emer's parcel was small and rectangular, neatly wrapped in brown paper. If she opened it... she would find a gray, leather bound book: The Complete Tales of Quill: An Anthology of the Cherished Classics A particularly keen pair of eyes would notice an irregularity in the binding; as though there were a bookmark placed inside the volume. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Saedrun)Tue, 26 Aug 2008 16:52:44 +0000 Re: The Courier (Emer & Friends)https://bandrune.runboard.com/p814,from=rss#post814https://bandrune.runboard.com/p814,from=rss#post814Enjoying company and drinks before Emer ventured off into the wilderness for another several days, she occupied her usual chair. Hardly noticing the youth when he entered the pub, the sound of her name turned her with a mixed look of curiosity and caution. Removing her muddy boots from the table and setting down her pipe Emer casts him an appraising glance and replies, " Yes?".nondisclosed_email@example.com (Ortlindegal)Tue, 26 Aug 2008 16:28:23 +0000 The Courier (Emer & Friends)https://bandrune.runboard.com/p811,from=rss#post811https://bandrune.runboard.com/p811,from=rss#post811The young man slowed his horse as he approached the fork in the road, which branched off to the Heartbreaker. He deftly slipped off the animal's back, and entered the roadside inn. The teen glanced about the inn and made his way over to Nathan. The two exchanged words, and the barkeep motioned to a nearby table, where Miss Emer Emaine was seated with several companions. The youth made his way over to the table, reaching into his pack and producing a small parcel, neatly wrapped in brown paper. He cleared his throat, and shly spoke up. "Gotta package, fer a Emer Emaine."nondisclosed_email@example.com (Saedrun)Sun, 24 Aug 2008 21:37:36 +0000
