Some feedback from a new player
So some of you have probably seen me on the last 3-4 days with my 2 characters....
I seem to have found a gap in areas to visit between easy-peasy run through things and "get mauled". (It's possible it's me too).
So my first PC was a Ftr/rog build that i usually use for exploring new worlds. After doing the low level dungeon areas for awhile (kobolds, the deep, derelict house) and participating in the Tue DM event, I found him at level 9 with what seems to be decent gear for a new PC (+2 keen weapon, +1 plate, +1 shield, +1 longbow, cloak fort+1, stonewall grives boots (or sun soul+1), and plenty of little healing goodies from the lower level dungeons).
At that point, the lower level areas I've found (including the derelict house) aren't challenging, just sort of run through them and collect gold and xp.
But the next higher ones seem to be a little out of reach - the stripmine area led to enemies casting 80hp fireballs and almost immediate death and the Ruins of Kaddath was so draining on healing kits and potions, it seemed almost not worth it (each group having 1-2 death eater that do the 20-25pt psionic blast is tough).
I also wandered the other way out of bodkin and ended up facing a couple orcs that trounced me thoroughly as well.
Have I found a sort of level rut and I just need to suck it up and wait for someone my level to party up with? or am I missing some areas to head to?
I've had similar experiences with my lvl7/1 Druid/monk, although I havent tried the ruins with her yet.
I chatted a bit in-game with Numos about that, but just wanted to throw it out here on the forums.

Re: Some feedback from a new player
Difficulty does tend to creep up as you get higher in levels. Kaddath is typically the next step up from the Townhouse, and the Dream Eaters can certainly put a dent in you.
To be honest the server previously balanced around doing dungeon-running with a buddy, but, as we're moving a little slow right now that isn't always viable. I can take a look at some of the mid-level content and tweak it for solo players.
For now I've lowered the number of psions that spawn in Kaddath.

Re: Some feedback from a new player
To change the amount of caster spawns in dungeons would make things alot easier for low lvls with low HP i beleive.
