I figured I'm always on the lookout for new music to have playing in the background while I play NWN. The original soundtrack is good and all, but after 10 years it is a little worn.
So what are you listening to currently when you get your RP on?
At the moment I'm listening a lot to the soundtrack from The Vikings, which has sort of an interesting mix between old instruments and modern orchestral synth going on.
I guess my most used music while playing NWN has to be the Guild Wars soundtrack though. Seems oddly fitting, it being composed by Jeremy Soule as well...
I listen to this album near constantly when playing on Andrune. It's a concept album that tells the story of a Gallic tribe, the Helvetes, and their attempts to resist the Roman invasion of Gaul. Highly appropriate to the server.
Re: So what're you listening to? I have the old Aolyth/Immersea custom music files in my Windows media player : Music.rar
I tried to press download, but sadly its from the old forums, and wasnt aviable anymore.
But its soundtracks are from Chrono Cross, Boondock Saints, Contradanza, Celtic Woman-The butterfly, Heroes of Might&Magic 4 themes, Enya- Evenstar & Many meetings, various pieces by Jeremy Soule, Hildegard Von Bingen and more.
Re: So what're you listening to? Just about anything by Two Steps from Hell, their albums are pretty much the perfect background music for RP.
Lately I've been on a Ramin Djawadi binge. While not known as well as Hans Zimmer or Danny Elfman, he's worked on a lot of recent movies. (Iron Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, Red Dawn, and of course, Pacific Rim.) He also does work for shows that's fantastic. (Most notably Game of Thrones. )
